The SoProTeam are very sociable people. They often go to networking events to meet new people, build relationships and develop existing ones. Social Progress are partners of MYNetworkHUD along with Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, The Media Centre & Crowther Accountant. They meet on the 3rd Wednesday monthly at The Media Centre in Huddersfield Town Centre as well as attending other business events and conferences too!

Janet Bebb

Janet is our main Social Media Trainer. Having previously worked for Business Link as a Business Adviser and coming from a strong customer service-based background, Janet definitely knows what she’s talking about when it comes to business and social media! Did you know that she’s been voted as one of Enterprise Nation’s UK’s Top 50 Business Advisers and she also helps small businesses as a Business Hub Kirklees Advocate.

Appointed as one of only eight Facebook ‘She Means Business’ Accredited Trainers in 2017, Janet has delivered social media training all across the UK and helped individuals (and teams of employees) get to grips with social media for their business. Janet is also Facebook Blueprint Certified, Digital Marketing Associate and a Facebook Blueprint Lead Trainer. Our training covers Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Blogging, Social Media Strategy and more…

 

Janet is a member, and currently the President of BNI Terriers, Huddersfield and we are business partners at MY Network.

Alex Bebb

Alex is our go-to tech expert alongside his Account Manager role here at Social Progress, with previous qualifications in ICT and Catering. Coming from such environments makes him an energetic and sociable person who is willing to help and build relationships with clients.

Using his love of computers, he is keen to expand his knowledge of social media through work in the family business. Working with family can be a bit of a challenge but with such a strong Mother / Son relationship they should be more than capable of getting along (we hope!).

Alex has been given the opportunity to escape the fast paced kitchen life to be given an opportunity in the office so that he can have more of a family life in his new house with his girlfriend.

Alex has many interests some of which include cars, walking the dogs, photography and occasional video gaming. Alex is excited to be with us and is looking forward to understand more about social media from a business perspective.

Bruce

Bruce is a 2-year-old rescue Saffy cross Whippet who is owned by Janet’s daughter, Sophie. He loves nothing more than licking you to death when he sees you and going on long nature walks, even though he scares off most the wildlife. His best ability is to transform a perfectly clean room into something that would resemble the gates of hell. All that said, he’s a good boy and we love him to bits.

Tiny

Tiny is an 8-year-old blue Staffy owned by one of the social progress employees, Alex. He is a calm dog who loves going on long walks. When left to his own business there’s nothing more that he’d rather do than destroy any toy in sight. He’s not like any other normal dog who would love to play around and jump up when you see him, he is more interested in sleeping and eating…. I guess its true when they say “a dog always reflects its owner”!
