I started Social Progress Ltd in November 2011. Did I have a burning desire to run my own business? No. Did I absolutely think it was the right thing to do? No. Did I have an opportunity to try something different? Yes. Was it challenging? At times, yes! Did I make the right decision? Absolutely, I’d never go back to being an employee ever again.
I’m no spring chicken but I’m not past my sell by date either. I just saw an idea and thought I’d give it a go. I’ve never looked back. Fortunate? Some might say so. Worked hard for what I have? I think so.
