We have some great news to share! Did you know that “The Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has launched a service that provides skills support to small and medium sized businesses. The LEP skills service helps businesses to identify their skills needs based on their business growth objectives and then find the right training solution.” – LEP skills service
They are working to support local SMEs (within the Leeds Region) to develop and grow their workforce skills by providing part-funded training and business support. Each package of support is bespoke to eligible companies and could include learning on subjects like PR, event management and social media training.
“The training provision is employer led, enabling businesses to design their own solutions and plug gaps in the market. Small and medium sized business based in the Leeds City Region that have a budget to put towards training could also be eligible for funding of between £500 and £50,000. The overall pot of funding available is £13, 900, 000 (yes £13.9 million!) so do apply to see if you are eligible! There are a few information sessions being held in and around the area over the next 12 months. Ones that are specific to the Huddersfield Area are:
