You may have seen the news; someone new has joined the Social Progress Team! We’d like to introduce Abbie Keogh. As is tradition, we’ve asked her to write a blog about herself as she starts her new chapter as a Social Media Account Manager. This is what she has to say:
Hi there I’m Abbie, the newest member of the Social Progress team. My relationship with digital marketing began upon starting a Bachelors degree in the field of marketing. I then went on to complete a Masters degree in Graphic Design and have been working with social media ever since!
I like to keep busy, whether I’m visiting new cities (York is my favourite – I find all the medieval and Viking attractions fascinating) or hiking across countryside, I love discovering new places. I’m hoping to visit Edinburgh for the first time around Christmas this year, the best time of year!
I find my creativity flows into my free time, from photography to dancing. Through my hobby as a dancer I have entered many competitions over the years, achieving national titles along the way. It has also given me the opportunity to perform in some really prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall. I also enjoy watching live music and comedy gigs. I have lots of tickets booked for upcoming shows to make up for the time we sadly lost due to Covid-19 – this includes tickets to the Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London, how exciting!
After enjoying my time managing the social media and website of a local venue for the past year, I’m excited to start working with a variety of local clients, helping them to optimise their social media presence. I can’t wait to get started at Social Progress and to grow my skill set with their fantastic team.
